Historical tile murals line the hallway at the new Gilbert Sports and Fitness Center California
Lutherans University. Donors purchased tiles bordering the murals, financing the cost of the murals and contributing towards
the overall project budget.
Alumni and community members contribute towards the project by purchasing donor
tiles. Each donor selected their own custom inscription for their tiles. Groups purchased full murals, enabling them to inscribe
the border tiles around the entire mural.
The new building includes a fitness center, dance studio, two athletic
gyms, exercise science laboratories, locker rooms, and classrooms.
